Shaun Iqbal brings together extensive experience in banking, business management, property investment and residential real estate to deliver a well-rounded, commercially informed approach to buying and selling property in Canberra.
Shaun began his professional career with the Commonwealth Bank in August 1995, spending much of his banking career in the branch network as a Personal Lending Manager, Investment Adviser and Branch Manager. These roles provided him with a strong foundation in financial analysis, investment strategies, customer relationships and negotiation—skills that continue to benefit his real estate clients today.
His interest in property began in 1998, when he started buying, developing and selling property projects. In 2003, Shaun took a three-year career break from banking to establish and manage a fast-food franchise business. Through his entrepreneurial approach, he successfully expanded the business across multiple sites, managing a workforce of up to 60 employees. Following this experience, he returned to the banking industry, progressing into senior management roles before transitioning into real estate with Independent Property Group in 2009.
After building a successful career in the Canberra property market, Shaun established Impact Properties Gungahlin on 1 July 2015, driven by a vision to provide clients with a more personalised, professional and results-focused real estate experience.
